No Vacation will ever go off w/o a hitch.

When you go on vacation, you expect a couple of bumps in the road. I arranged a Disneyland trip through Priceline.com. Travel day comes up and I am a huge stressball (prozac was not enough today) also known as testing my sobriety. We arrive at the Oakland international airport with plenty of time to spare. Alaska Airlines tels us the flight is delayed out of Seattle due to weather. And the flight will be delayed ~3 hrs. we are cool with a takeoff of 9pm and go to wait for the flight. The plane arrives at 12:30 AM and announces that due to a curfew at Anaheim that starts at 9pm they cannot land at SNA and tell us that we are now going to LAX. We arrive at LAX at 2:00 am and are left to our own devices. I am not upset about the delay. What pissed me off is they knew what was going to happen with the airport closure and refused to tell the passengers that they were going to be stranded and by the time we found out what was going on it was 2:00 in the morning and we would have been able to make adjustments to our plans to compensate for the change in destination.

The rest of the vacation went wonderfully and were luckier than those who are stuck with the Denver weather mess.
